Construction Types

At Piedro, we understand that every child’s foot is unique. That’s why we offer a range of construction types for orthopaedic children’s footwear — each designed to meet specific foot conditions and support needs. Whether it’s additional stability, correction of a postural deviation, or extra support while walking, our constructions ensure an optimal fit, freedom of movement, and lasting comfort.

Together with orthopaedic specialists, we determine which style best suits your child’s feet.

Determine the correct shoe size and width

Every foot deserves the right fit. Piedro shoes are available in 32 sizes, ranging from size 15 to 46, with each model available in up to 8 width fittings (depending on the article). It’s easy to find your exact size and width using our size guides.

How do you determine the shoe size exactly? Refer to the image below to see where to measure for foot width, girth, and length. Take these three measurements (as shown) in centimetres and note them down.

Find your length measurement in the chart, then look for the width fitting that most closely matches your own width measurement. Both charts can be found here. Now you have all the information you need to choose your perfect Piedro model. If you need help or advice with Piedro sizing, please don’t hesitate to contact our customer service team on 0182 – 22 35 40. We’re happy to assist you.
